We're "Hope Dealers"...

In a community wracked with poverty, drug addiction, and crime, a suffering people are looking for something to help ease the pain. It is our ministry and our responsibility to seve them before the streets do and so we are "Hope Dealers." We belive that Hope Changes Everything, and that when you have something to hope for, you have something to live for.

Portland is our community and these are our streets, our people, our family. So we take the Word to the streets and invite our family to come home and find what they need. Come home and find hope. Come home and get a meal. Come home and get some clean clothes. We are here to care for our Brothers and Sisters. We are here to serve.

"It's a real relief to have a place to go and get food to help stretch things between paychecks. A lot of churches say they'll pray for you, but Grace actually cares for the people."

-Brenda, POrtland Resident

Clothes Closet

Grace Community Covenetant Church is in partnership with PACT Clothes Closet. Through this partnership we are able to help Portand Area families find not only clothes, but books, toys, applience and furshings to help bring comfort to their homes. We are here to provide some of the basic pieces to help rebuild a life after bevestating circumstances like, fire, evicition or imprisonment, we know from personal experience how a few key items can be the cornerstone to a fresh start and we believe that there's a second chance for every one and every thing. So donated items find a new life at our clothes closet and a community in need finds a new start through each donation.

Education

Grace Community Covenant Church is committed to helping rebuild lives, and often that means filling in the gaps left by an education system that has not been interested in or capable of working with at-risk youth who go on to become endangered adults.   We help to equip our people with the skills to navigate a world that often feels like it is not built for them to succeed, with programs starting with basic literacy for both children and adults as well as college prep, resumé writing, interviewing skills, and basic computer skills.
