BlockTober Turned The Block over!

Grace Church in partnership with Portland Avenue Presbyterian Church held our annual Blocktober fall festival on October 27. This annual outreach event is an opportunity for our neighbors to experience the love of Christ shared freely by both congregations while having a good time.

For the first time this year, our neighbors were able to experience our pastor, Rev. William Mack as Rev. Turn Up our Emcee for the evening. Flame broiled Bussey Burgers and Dogs were grilled by our own, Minister Stachelle Bussey and our friends at PAPC provided candy and treats through Trunk-or Treating in the church parking lot. This year we served over 300 meals and made connections with 60 families outside of the GC3 and PAPC congregations.

Special thanks to the Blocktober planning team ( Eld. Traci Simmons, Mis. Stachell Bussey and Min. Brandon Thomas) and all that participated, helped, donated or prayed for this event’s success.
